Asian Travel Solutions is a registered inbound travel agency under the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA). We specialize in organizing comprehensive travel arrangements for tourists, including accommodation, transportation, guided tours, activity planning, and airport pick-up and drop-off
services, all in compliance with the guidelines set by the SLTDA and tailored to our clients’ specific requirements. The following terms and conditions apply to your booking with us.
Payment Policy for the Tour Confirmation
Upon confirming your booking, an advance payment of 50% of the total tour cost is required. This
amount may vary depending on the timing of your visit. Once we receive the payment, we will issue a tour confirmation voucher and receipt within three working days.
The remaining balance should be settled upon confirmation and two weeks prior to your arrival.
Please note that if you choose to make a bank transfer, you will be responsible for all associated bank charges.
Refund Policy
Once we receive your cancellation request and review the eligibility, we will notify you of the refund status. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please note that the refunded amount will exclude any non-refundable deposits, service charges, or other applicable fees incurred during the booking process.
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your booking by notifying your Tour Consultant.
Please note that the advance payment made for arranging the tour is non-refundable. This is because the booking cancellation fees for the respective hotels and all documentation and service charges
incurred by Asian Travel Solutions must be paid.
The advance can be utilized for any future trip you plan with us, so consider postponing your trip instead of canceling it.
Please be aware that the total cost of the tour package may change if you reschedule your tour. We do not typically offer refunds for early checkouts during the tour.
In exceptional circumstances, such as unforeseen events at the destination or globally that prevent the tour from taking place, Asian Travel Solutions will refund 100% of your payment if the cancellation is made within 21 days prior to your arrival in Sri Lanka.
Changes in the Tour Itinerary
We work with you to create a flexible and customized tour package that suits your preferences. However, if any changes are made after the package is confirmed and the advance payment is received, the total cost may be adjusted based on the requested changes. This includes changes to the number of days, number of people, arrival date, hotels, sightseeing tickets, transportation mode, etc.
Asian Travel Solutions guarantees the accommodation agreed upon in the tour package selected by the client. We provide detailed information on the selected hotels before confirmation. We recommend that clients review the hotel details thoroughly before confirming the booking. Once confirmed, hotel
reservations are final and cannot be changed, either before or after arrival in Sri Lanka. If a guest insists on changing the hotel, we will make every effort to find an alternative within the same category, but any additional costs incurred will be the responsibility of the guest.
Any changes made during the tour, along with any additional charges for services, will be payable by the guest.
Essential Items to Remember
Once you receive your tickets, carefully check your flight times. Airlines may make small changes to flight schedules after issuing our Travel Voucher, and we are not responsible for these adjustments. It is your responsibility to notify us of any changes to your flight times. Additionally, please ensure that all your
travel documents, including your passport, visa, driving license, insurance details, and currency, are in order.
Unforeseen Circumstances
The Tour Operator is not responsible for any death, injury, illness, damage, delay, loss, or financial costs (both direct and indirect) incurred, or for failing to start, perform, or complete any services owed to you, if these issues arise due to events beyond the operator’s control. This includes situations like natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, political disturbances, government actions, fire,
extreme weather, or any other unforeseen events. Such circumstances, known as “Force Majeure,” may also include issues that the Tour Operator or third-party service providers could not have reasonably anticipated, even with proper care.
Shopping
Asian Travel Solutions does not recommend or guarantee the value or quality of any additional products not listed on the Travel Voucher, even if these items were discussed with a staff member or
representative. It is entirely the client’s responsibility to assess the value of any product purchased during the tour. Asian Travel Solutions has no obligation to get involved in these matters.
Furthermore, Asian Travel Solutions is not responsible for the quality, functionality, or any warranties related to products you buy during your trip.
